I am Merili, and I am here to be your Coach.

My professional career began in the early 2000s when I embarked on my journey in the HR field. Even before that, while working as an assistant, I had to engage with various people and stakeholders, support top management, and ensure the wellbeing of others. It was during this time that I realized working for and with people is truly my passion. Over the years, this realization has taken deep root in me.

Throughout my career, I’ve held roles as an HR Specialist, Talent Acquisition Partner, Recruitment Partner, and People Partner—each requiring me to interact with a diverse range of individuals, build bridges, facilitate collaboration, and be a profound listener and make people to be heard. My industry experience spans telecommunications, human resources management consulting, and banking. Through these many experiences, I found my way to coaching. 

On a personal note, being a mother of three daughters has also profoundly shaped my importance of self-reflections, active listening and powerful questioning. Parenting is a significant aspect of helping children reach their potential, uncover their passions and goals, and navigate setbacks.

 Today, as of Erickson Accredited Coach, my commitment is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore, experiment, and embrace the unknown with courage and curiosity. In my understanding coaching is a collaborative partnership, and I’m here to support you as you navigate this journey of self-discovery and achievement. Together, we’ll explore the depths of your potential, uncovering your unique strengths, values, and aspirations. This is the process of self-discovery and it enables to normalize all the feelings, emotions, thoughts in safe, non-judgmental environment. As your coach, I invite you to embark on a journey of change and growth, trusting in your natural rhythm and timing.

 I am a fan of theory by Carol Dweck about fixed and growth mindset. Our mindset determines how we deal with tough situation and setbacks; fixed mindset is limiting us as believing that we are unable to do something causes us to dedicate less effort to accomplishing it, on the contrary in a growth mindset, challenges are exciting rather than threatening. So rather than thinking, “Oh, I’m going to reveal my weaknesses,” you say, “Wow, here’s a chance to grow”. 

I am especially interested in personal development and growth, strengths and values and finding wellbeing, balance & harmony in life topics.

I’m really passionate about empowering individuals to pursue their dreams and reach their goals and discover their beautiful, unique and authentic identiy.

I also love to work with organizations and teams. As a solution-focused coach, I dig deep into the level of values and identity, as these levels determine clients’ long-term success and provide a strong inner motivation to take the necessary steps and changes. Well, I sometimes even call myself a Value & Identiy Coach :). 

In case you didn’t know – I am also an inspiring Trainer and Speaker, experienced Service Designer and Accessibility Expert.

And of course, the most important thing – I am a mother of three wonderful daughters who are going to impact the world in an extraordinary way one day!

I really believe that if life gives us lemon, we should make a lemonade out of it. Behind every pain and loss there is always something beautiful that helps us to experience the love, peace and joy in a deeper way.

The greatest victories in my life have been: 

• going through a divorce while having three little kids and a very limited income – I was victorious in forgiving my husband and myself. I was victorious in building up my self-esteem and finding my true identiy. I was victorious in starting my own business, building up couple of companies and earning the trust of clients.
